“Collection by Vermant” is pleased to be able to offer you this unique Bugatti Junior Car. This Little Bugatti was crafted by the renowned French car builder, de La Chapelle. He started his career by reviving his family business and focussed on reviving and homologating evocations of Mythical Bugatti cars. It took a few years before de La Chapelle started to craft motorized children toys and his first creations where a Mini Jeep, BMW 328 and a Ferrari 330 P2. During this time he also created a full scale Bugatti Type 55 recreation which cemented his name in the automobile industry. He then created the 6/10 scale junior example if the Type 55 Bugatti. The quality of the Junior car however is not less than that of the real car and it was crafted beautifully by hand in their artisan workshop. This Type 55 is not only nice to look at but it has the performance to match. Powered by a Sachs Saxonette 2-stroke 49.9 cc engine with two automatic gears and centrifugal clutch. The transmission is by chain, and the rear axle has a drum brake and all of this is mounted on a tubular chassis. The mechanicals of this Bugatti are in excellent working order, being recently gone through and checked.

With around 200 examples made, this Bugatti is a unique piece to add to your collection or even use as a decorative item. It also presents a unique opportunity for any classic car enthousiast with children since it is eligible for Little Big Le Mans or the Kids Concours at the Zoute Grand Prix.
