Bruno Verpoorten

Bruno started working as an apprentice at Jaguar at the age of 14. His father was a master technician there and the son was allowed to work under his wing for over eighteen years. During that time, Bruno developed from an eager to learn boy to a top technician in engine construction (engine and gearbox revision). Not only for Jaguar, but also for Toyota, which in the meantime had come into his portfolio.

In 2000 Bruno started his own garage, where he focused mainly on classic Jaguars: specific engine construction, gearboxes and drive trains. He was now able to make the most of all his accumulated experience. He also expanded his knowledge further, by delving into the pure technology of Mercedes, Aston Martin and Ferrari, among others, in addition to Jaguar.

At 65, this more than experienced technician now joins the team of Collection by Vermant, where he will be responsible for engine and gearbox overhauls. His priceless expertise and insights will add noticeable value to our service.
